Oops! I forgot I'd already faved this months ago and so I accidentally un-faved it just now. Now I have to fav it again and be one of the jerks who added this to their favs just because they saw it as a daily deviation.
I have personal reasons for liking this enticing foto and one can nit-pick over technique, framing, composition etc. but she is daLovely and Adam's a Pro. Thank you for sharing Adam and kudos on your Tumblr page you have some seriously dope shots Brotha. Cheers.
You know thats really funny because, should we then consider the old masters as non artists just because they used to paint content that "reveals" certain body parts? But man, the old masters painted back then, this is just too easy! Should we then judge the technique, which is photography in this case, arguing how a macro shot of a flower or a cuture shot is art but this piece is not? What makes the macro shot art then? The theme? The choice of the flower? The shot itself? Maybe then photography is not art either? Please. I know exactly what is in your head and what exactly you are thinking. You know its the 21th century, and you make it sound like we are more uncivilized then back a few centuries ago. A professional has an eye for noticing things from experience, things which you can't apparently see. This is a great photo and there are so many reasons for it. You are just like the other hypocrites who "appreciate" art but label everything tagged with mature content as p0rn. Disrespectful to the bone.
Come on. While I'm not usually a huge fan of this particular genre either, I can appreciate this picture very much. Look at the gorgeous colors, the reds in her hair, lips, nails, and the light behind her against the blue in the background and her eye shadow. The contrast between her light skin and the dark leather. The hard title of the photo plays nicely against the soft feel of the photo. The photographer obviously earned this DD and those wiling to take the time to actually LOOK at it can see that clearly.
Whilst I agree that you're entitled to your own opinion. To argue that it is not art would be say that no skill, imagination or visual form exists here. Which is simply uneducated. You do not have to like it for it to be art.
Using myself as an example, this particular piece is not personally to my taste. But I can appreciate the skill behind taking the shot, the obvious deliberations in choice of outfit - as there is no doubt that they compliment the model, as well as the fact that I am mature enough to accept that whilst I may not be a fan personally, others are, and it is overall a well constructed piece.
Aside from that, after a brief look at your profile where you state (on a piece of artwork that I believe is copy-paste from on the web) that you were born in 1998. Thus, and I apologise if I'm mistaken, you're to young to be viewing this particular piece anyway. Perhaps this correlates with your disrespectful comment.
